Diana Eneje, the 24 year old Nigerian content creator, fashion influencer and entrepreneur, is officially engaged. Her partner, Pascal Godwin, chose the scenic vineyards and mountains of Cape Town, South Africa, as the backdrop for a picture perfect proposal.
Known for sharing her life, fashion choices and career milestones with her audience, Diana had hinted that a proposal would come with plenty of visual flair. Pascal delivered on that expectation with an elaborate outdoor setup surrounded by lush vineyards and mountain views.
The scene featured a large white balloon arch framing giant illuminated letters that read “WILL YOU MARRY ME”. Colourful smoke cannons filled the sky as Pascal got down on one knee, while tall glass candles and white flowers lined the space. The white platform beneath the couple carried another message: “Forever STARTS HERE!”
For the occasion, Diana wore a brown strapless floor length gown with structured pleating through the body, subtle cut out details at the front and a flowing side train. The warm brown shade stood out beautifully against the green landscape. She styled her blonde braids in a high pinned up look with curls framing her face, adding understated earrings, a dainty bracelet and a silver sparkle anklet. A pair of red bottom heels completed the ensemble.
Pascal kept his outfit more simple with a white short sleeved button down shirt, dark trousers and sunglasses. He accessorised with a silver chain, a luxury watch and a diamond tennis chain, finishing off the look with Louis Vuitton trainers.
The engagement ring is a marquise cut diamond with a substantial centre stone set on a pavé band, paired with a second diamond accent ring. The elongated shape gives the ring a classic feel, while the slim band keeps the focus on the diamond.
The proposal comes shortly after Diana celebrated her 24th birthday in a gold mini sequin cut out dress. Her career began with appearances in music videos before she built her own presence as a digital creator. Over the years, she has grown into one of Nigeria’s recognisable young fashion influencers, working across content creation, beauty and youth culture.
