At least seven people were killed overnight in a southern Lebanon village by Israeli strikes, an attack that France 24 correspondent Renée Davis described as an important escalation despite the truce.
“We’re seeing an important escalation in southern Lebanon despite the so-called truce,” Davis said from Beirut. She also gave an update on the ongoing negotiations with Israel.
The strikes are the deadliest escalation since the ceasefire began two months ago, and negotiations with Israel remain ongoing.
